GREECE (SD)-The coastal forces of Greece have been accused of being responsible for the deaths of 40 migrants who were seeking to reach Greece and ultimately other European countries.

Investigations conducted by BBC journalists revealed that the Greek coastal surveillance forces have actively prevented migrants from reaching the shores of the country, forcing them to return to the sea.

It has been reported that the Greek forces’ actions have led to 15 tragic incidents in recent years, resulting in the loss of many migrant lives, including those who drowned in the Mediterranean Sea, for three consecutive years.

The investigations further revealed that some individuals were forcibly pushed back into the sea, while others were prevented from disembarking on Greek territory, leading them to return to the dangerous waters they had embarked from.
